Mäpt Sätï-hik receives an average of 210 cm/y (82 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Mäpt Sätï-hik covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 1684 m (5524 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Mäpt Sätï-hik was founded durring the late 13th century in winter of the year 1196, by Shtumgli vyim Glə˞ʤine. The establishment of Mäpt Sätï-hik was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Mäpt Sätï-hik's construction back out of the project. Shtumgli vyim Glə˞ʤine pushed on reguardles, and Mäpt Sätï-hik was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Mäpt Sätï-hik was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt Sätï-hik is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Mäpt Sätï-hik is buildings have been located at convienant points along the swamp Mäpt Sätï-hik was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the spacious baked earthen streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The town's robustly designed timber walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
Mäpt Sätï-hik has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Mäpt Sätï-hik’s streets.

Mäpt Sätï-hik's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century Mount Trepidation, an iconic vista located neare Mäpt Sätï-hik, proved to be volcanic when the mountain erupted. The eruption was isolated to the area around Mäpt Sätï-hik, which was swallowed in ash, lava flows, and pyroclastic gasses. Mäpt Sätï-hik lost 121 people, 372 livestock, and 35 buildings in the disaster. The event is forever remembered as the Day of Trepidation's Wrath.
